In 2017, Birgitta Festival continues its established tradition of bringing to stage an original production of a classical piece that will only be staged twice during the festival. In the past few years the original production have ranged from oratorio staged versions such as Joseph Haydn’s “Creation” in 2015 to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Requiem” in 2016. Birgitta Festival 2017 will delight its audience with Joseph Haydn’s famous oratorio “The Seasons”, staged by the same team that was behind the production of Haydn’s “Creation” in 2015.
